No. ViMoMag is a 100% client-side application. When you select a video, all optical flow calculations, spectral analysis, and video rendering happen directly within your web browser using your device's memory. Your video is never uploaded to the cloud.
ViMoMag can detect high-frequency mechanical vibrations (motors, pumps, compressors), low-frequency structural sway (bridges, towers, floors), and physiological motion (respiration, pulse). The detectable frequencies depend on your camera's frame rate.
We support standard web video formats including MP4, WebM, and MOV. For the best analysis results, we recommend using stabilized video shot at a high frame rate (60fps or higher) with adequate lighting.
